Cut the cords of unwanted energy

We are all attached with energetic cords in some way or another. I have been blessed with the ability to see psychic cord attachments and also the soul life cords that envelop it and reach out to the hundreds of soul family connections. Some are very fragile and not meant to be a lifetime attachment and then some are thick and sturdy and weaved around another soul to accomplish both soul’s life journey with each other.

Being energetically attached to someone you love and care about, family ties or long-term friendships, whether they be loving and supportive or challenging is part of the game. But what if you have someone that has come into your life as part of your soul family to teach you self-love through challenge and hurt? They have done the damage but you just can’t seem to get them off your mind, stop loving them, stop hating them or just stop having them mess with your peace of mind. What do you do then? Bearing in mind, that you wrote your life script with that person and everyone agreed to participate in whatever life drama you played out together, you also have the power and the ability to make it stop by severing those energetic cords causing you discomfort.

Everyone we invite into our life, even on the most miniscule level, wraps their energetic cords around you. Some just for a few seconds and then floating off, others sticking like gum on your shoe. Having made that statement, just a heads up to keep in mind that anytime you are intimate with someone, they leave a part of their energy with you and take some of yours. With that being said, it is always advisable to be very selective who you share your intimacy with.

Cord cutting ritual

So how do you break those cords with someone you no longer want to be thinking of, loving, hating or effecting your life in a negative or unhappy way? A very simple cord cutting ritual can do that. It may only take once and you feel free and more powerful and then again it may take a hundred times, but it will work if you REALLY want it to. I say that because once it is done, if you are pining over a guy and hoping for a possible reconciliation, it will be…game over. But you will leave room in your heart for someone better that does not make you feel miserable. Much kinder to yourself taking that approach. Cutting unwanted cords is a simple, gentle process that is best done alone and/or right before sleep along with prayers but can be done anytime. It is VERY important that you are strong in your intention to release the cord between you and someone else as mentioned above.

Here are the steps for cord cutting:

1. To begin, take a few deep breaths and when are ready, visualize or sense the cords that are connecting you to the person you want to be emotionally free of.
2. In your mind, touch the cords you wish to cut and separate them.
3. Visualize holding those cords in your hand.
4. Then ask whomever you pray to, to give you the golden scissors to make the cut.
5. Then see in your mind’s eye, the cord being cleanly cut. If it wraps together again, cut it again.
6. If you feel you need assistance, call upon Archangel Michael to help you with his sword.
7. Afterwards, if you feel that cutting the cord has left spaces in your energy field, then visualize those spaces being filled with healing white light.
8. Give thanks in prayer for the release from these cords and the emotional freedom it will give you.

Domino effect:

Remember that when you are cutting negative cords between family members and friends, it does not mean the relationship ends. Once you free yourself from the draining life force cords wrapped around you, you will bring a different energy to the relationship. You may find a domino effect of creating an altered interaction with them. Others whom you just want to be gone, you will find yourself thinking less and less about them until you realize that it’s been days, then weeks, then months since you even gave them any attention.

I will say that cord cutting is almost 100% effective but there are exceptions. Sometimes heavy karma is being worked out in this lifetime and the cords will never completely be gone. But what you will experience is not being controlled by them in your every waking moment.
